This property is located right on the edge of both Overton and Quidhampton within walking distance of the station and overlooking farmland. Overton itself provides facilities catering for all day-to-day requirements, with school, a range of shops, a doctors’ surgery, various pubs and restaurants and a main line station providing regular services to London Waterloo. There is a golf course on the edge of the village.

Listed as Monks Close and believed to date from the seventeenth century with nineteenth century additions this is said to be the original Quidhampton Manor House. Continue until reaching the edge of the village and The Old Manor House will be found on the left hand side behind a high hedge.
